Hometown: Columbia, SC Ethnicity: African American Hobbies: Working out and photography Who is your favorite Designer? Queens of Radia. Her switch between Iridescent and dark velvet fabrics matches the elements made of my personality. Her designs look like something a pixie would wear and that matches my inner spirit. Why did you become a model? I became a model during the pandemic in an effort to aid in my acting career and push myself and see if I could conquer the challenge. |
Hometown: Lexington, South Carolina Ethnicity: Asian (Chinese) Hobbies: Reading, photography, & modeling Who is your favorite Designer? Georges Hobeika is my favorite designer. I love his combinations of color palette with rich colors and neutral tones. I love his appreciation of human bodies by creating a flattering silhouette and highlighting the garments with embellishments and luxe materials. Why did you become a model? I love the combination of creative freedom and structure that modeling provides. I feel euphoric when I am able to embody the character or persona that the job asks of me. |
Hometown: Columbia, SC Ethnicity: African American Hobbies: Shop, I really really love to shop. Who is your favorite Designer? I hate having favorites! I literally love everything but if I had to say a name I would say Sergio Hudson. He is a black, South Carolina native, and is giving luxury! Why did you become a model? When I think of what the word model means, when not speaking of a human specifically, I think of being a prototype, and original, an object that is mirrored or modeled after. I intend on creating a platform that gives people something to real to look up to, copy, or aspire. The funny thing is, my platform is focused on self-love, understanding and growth of self, and emotional/mental health and development. It took all of that to become who I am, love who I am, and express myself through fashion. |
Hometown: Columbia, SC Ethnicity: African American Hobbies: Working out Who is your favorite Designer? My favorite Designer is Fe Noel, because the designs are "flowy" and goddess like. Why did you become a model? I want to model because as a child I loved modeling and basketball, but never knew how to be girly and a tomboy at the same time. Now, I understand that I can be both. |
Hometown: Savannah, Georgia Ethnicity: African American Hobbies: Reading a good novel in my egg chair, with natural sunlight and relaxing music. I used to be into fiction but I’ve gravitated more towards self help, self love, skincare, the “for dummies” series, organization, how to become a millionaire before 30, fun facts, Bible scriptures and anatomy books. I love being a nerd. Who is your favorite Designer? Karla Welch. Karla Welch, is the primary stylist of my favorite TV MOM, Tracee Ellis Ross, Daughter of the infamous Diana Ross. My favorite piece she designed for Tracee was this beautiful neon pink dress that unapologetically took up space. It was ADORABLE, BOLD, CLASSY, SASSY, CAREFREE, FLUFFY and PINK. It portrays her entire personality in that dress. Why did you become a model? It feels more like a calling for me and this is where I truly belong. I didn’t choose this life, it chose me and it literally shows in my entire demeanor and reviews from close loved ones. I pray before I partake in anything and it was a no brainer to sign up. I am passionate about chasing dreams and not letting a day go by with regrets. Life is too short to not test and broaden your skills and talents. We are made of much more than what meets the eye of the beholder and these seeds that God has planted inside of me, it’s time to water and sow it back to Him. |
Hometown: Fort Mill, South Carolina Ethnicity: White/ Hispanic Hobbies: Thrifting Who is your favorite Designer? Hometown: Brooklyn, New York Ethnicity: African American Hobbies: Crocheting, painting, jewelry making, locc maintenance. Who is your favorite Designer? Rihanna- Fenty - Rihanna as a designer is extraordinary to me as she embraces all body types and ethnicities. After watching her docuseries Savage x Fenty it broadened the standard of beauty to another level! Own your look and your confidence shall exude gracefully. Why did you become a model? Becoming a model was written for me. As a little girl I received so many compliments and my parents were always asked if they put me in modeling. As I matured I found that I not only wanted to be a model but a role model to young girls to help build their self esteem to believe in themselves. It's all about development and your strut says a lot about you; modeling creates the confidence needed to walk in your truth. |
Hometown: Irmo, South Carolina Ethnicity: White Hobbies: Taking fun and creative pictures with my friends!! Who is your favorite Designer? Marcelo Gaia, the designer of Mirror Palais, is my favorite because of his sustainable, made to order designs. His designs are daringly intimate in the most compelling way, and I love the fact it’s a small-owned business! Why did you become a model? To promote beauty, individuality in uniqueness, and self-love in a confident, empowering way. I really believe in making a statement and leaving your mark wherever you go, and modeling is the perfect outlet to do just that. |
Hometown: Pelzer, South Carolina Ethnicity: Filipino-American Hobbies: Baking Who is your favorite Designer? Sherri Hill is my favorite designer. I love her dresses for pageants and think her designs are beautiful! Why did you become a model? I want to become a model to improve my confidence in front of the camera. |
Hometown: Elloree, South Carolina Ethnicity: German, Irish & African-American Hobbies: Outside of modeling, I love to create content. I'm literally THAT girl when it comes to making interesting dialogue for social media. I also enjoy cooking. It was actually my first love before modeling! Thrifting would be a given too! In addition to modeling I am a stylist and I love to bargain shop and show people that you don't have to spend much to look good! Who is your favorite Designer? Betsey Johnson! She has such a whimsical take on clothes and accessories. Her brand represents me in so many ways with the flirty and feminine pieces she produces and the over the top finishes she puts on everything. Clothing aside, she is a really amazing person and has a bubbly personality that I can relate to. Why did you become a model? I became a model to be able to display more of my personality and edge. Back when I began modeling I was also involved in pageantry and pageants did not allow me to fully express myself in the way I wanted to. I also really pushed myself into modeling after I became what the industry considers to be plus size. I wanted women, real women with real bodies to feel accepted and encouraged to feel beautiful no matter what a society may say. I wanted to change the norm in modeling. |
