BEAUTY TEAM FAQS
FAQ #1: All Beauty Volunteers will receive digital copies of all of the photos taken at Columbia Fashion Week within 30 days of the completion of the final night.
FAQ #2: If you are scheduled to volunteer for more than one night, and you do not show up on any of the scheduled nights, you will be removed from the lineup for the rest of the week.
FAQ #3: Definition of Lead: More experienced, great resume, experience in fashion event makeup artistry or hair styling, board certified professional or skills are equivalent to that of someone who went to school even though they haven't. Selections are up to the beauty director.
FAQ #4: Definition of General: Less experienced, little to no large fashion event styling experience, in beauty school or plan to enroll in beauty school, skills not up to the level of what classifies a Lead. Selections are up to the beauty director.
FAQ #5: Beauty Volunteers receive 50% off tickets for themselves or friends and family if they wish to attend the shows (up to 5 tickets, general admission only, based on availability) on a night they are not scheduled to volunteer. Must request code at least 30 days in advance by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
FAQ #6: Beauty Volunteers must provide their own kits. Disposable applicators, sponges, wands, cotton balls, etc will be provided by Columbia Fashion Week.
FAQ 7: All Beauty Volunteers can attend all after parties free of charge immediately following each night of shows. You must wear your COLAFW badge to gain access.
